Confirm authority first

Preserve truthful context
Do not use processed media to mislead people about authorship, events, evidence, endorsements, or product reality. Apply the AI labels and disclosures required by your platform, contract, client, or jurisdiction.

Review before publishing
Inspect images at full size and review videos through the timeline, especially around the watermark location. Preserve metadata separately when it matters because PNG and MP4 re-encoding can change file-level metadata.

When the tool declines
The engine fails closed when evidence is weak, which means an unchanged file is sometimes the correct answer. Do not work around that by recompressing, upscaling, or painting over the mark; check the supported sizes and formats guide instead.
